Stephens Co. Commission To Meet Today

Stephens County Commissioners will hold a regularly scheduled meeting later today.

The county commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. today in the second-floor courtroom of the historic Stephens County Courthouse in downtown Toccoa.

County commissioners will begin with a work session to discuss items on the meeting agenda, while the actual business meeting where commissioners vote on agenda items as needed will follow immediately after the end of the work session.

On today’s agenda, the county commission is expected to consider a meeting appearance policy and discuss amending Chapter 74 Tower Ordinance.

Following the end of the Stephens County Commission’s meeting, the county commission has scheduled a called meeting.

That called meeting has been set up to discuss personal wireless service facility and will also take place in the historic courthouse upstairs in the second-floor courtroom.

Both the regularly scheduled meeting and the called meeting of the county commission are open to the public.
