Stephens Co. Commission Meeting This Morning

Stephens County Commissioners will meet this morning for a regularly scheduled meeting.

The county commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the second floor courtroom of the historic Stephens County Courthouse in downtown Toccoa.

County commissioners will begin with two public hearings.

One is for an alcohol license.

The other is the first reading of a proposed court fee ordinance.

Following those two public hearings, Stephens County Commissioners will move into their work session to discuss items on the business meeting agenda.

Items on this morning’s meeting agenda include discussion of the sign ordinance, and consideration of a motion to fund overage of the final bill to the town of Martin for running water lines and installing fire hydrants on Swilling Road.

Today’s Stephens County Commission meeting is open to the public.
