Stephens County Commissioners will meet for a meeting this morning.
The county commission’s first regularly scheduled meeting for the month of November will take place today at 8:30 a.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the historic Stephens County Courthouse in downtown Toccoa.
County commissioners will start at 8:30 a.m. with a work session to discuss the items that are on the agenda.
Following the work session, county commissioners will immediately move into their business meeting to vote on items on the agenda.
During today’s meeting, Stephens County Commissioners are expected to officially set the qualifying fee for the special election to fill the unexpired term of late former County Commissioner Harold Andrews.
Andrews passed away last month.
Also during today’s meeting, commissioners are expected to consider approval of conditional use permits for two fixed Wireless Internet towers.
Today’s 8:30 a.m. Stephens County Commission meeting is open to the public.
