State Announces GEM SE Expansion

State officials said a Stephens County company will expand.

The Georgia Department of Economic Development announced Tuesday that GEM Southeast will expand its existing operations in Toccoa.

According to the state, the expansion will create 30 jobs and represent a $10 million investment.

The state said the expansion will involve GEM constructing a new 110,000 square foot facility.

GEM Southeast is a manufacturer of washroom accessories, toilet partitions, and lockers.
