Shelter Postpones “Jailhouse Rock”

June 21, 2013

The Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter is announcing that it is postponing the annual “Jailhouse Rock” fundraising event.

The dinner and auction had been set for Saturday, June 29th at North Georgia Technical College’s Currahee Campus.

According to Shelter Board Member Angie Garland, postponing the event will allow for additional planning time.

No new date has been scheduled yet.

However, Garland said they are working with the caterer and with North Georgia Tech to re-schedule, perhaps for sometime later in the summer.

Garland said she will also contact those who have already purchased tickets for the event.
