SCSO Still Seeking Person Who Ran; 1 in Custody

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for someone who fled from authorities Tuesday.

According to Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley, a white male fled from deputies in the area of Red Rock Road and Abby Lane Tuesday morning.

Shirley describes the individual as a white male, last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans in the Abby Lane area Tuesday, standing about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds.

Shirley said the Sheriff’s Office did take one person into custody Tuesday in connection with the incident.

According to Shirley, 27-year-old Lester Eugene Sullens of Oak Valley Road in Toccoa will be charged with driving while license suspended, obstruction, and other charges.

 

Shirley said Sullens also has an active parole warrant.
