SCSO Announces Drug Arrests

Two people face drug charges after authorities served a search warrant last week.

According to Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley, agents from the Mountain Judicial Circuit NCIS Drug Team, Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia State Patrol executed a search warrant last Wednesday afternoon and arrested both 39-year-old Marty Ray Bolman of Toccoa and 26-year-old Brandi Nicole Gibson of Toccoa.

Bolman was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

Meanwhile, Gibson was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

According to authorities, approximately seven grams of methamphetamine was found while the search warrant was served, along with digital scales.
