The Stephens County Middle School Rebel football team defeated Franklin County Saturday night at the Reservation by a score of 24-0.
All of the scoring took place in the first half.
Rebel running back Hassan Brown rushed for three touchdowns, scoring from 19 yards in the first quarter; and from both 80 yards and 28 yards in the second.
The only other scoring play was an 18 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Griff Pruitt to tight end Cole Rogers.
It was homecoming for the Rebels, and during halftime ceremonies, Elaina Grace Clayton, daughter of Tammy Henson and Kip Clayton, was crowned homecoming queen.
Stephens County improves to 3-0 on the season and will face Hart County in Hartwell Saturday, September 28, with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
