It’s a conference championship for the Stephens County Middle School baseball team.

The Stephens County Middle School Rebels completed an undefeated season with an 11-3 win over Franklin County in the Conference Championship game at Franklin County Middle School on Friday.

The Rebels trailed early, took the lead in the 4th inning 4-3, and then broke open the game with seven runs in the 5th inning.

Chaz Bridges went the distance pitching seven strong innings for the Rebels.

Meanwhile, Bridges, Griff Pruitt, Landon Bentley, and Cole Rogers had extra base hits for Stephens County Middle School.

The Rebels finished the year with no losses and one tie, in a game earlier this year against Franklin County that was called due to time.
