SCHS Students Win At SkillsUSA

Stephens County High School is sending 18 SkillsUSA winners to the Georgia SkillsUSA Conference.

The 18 students from Stephens County consist of the first and second place winners of the January 24 SkillsUSA Region 2 High School Competition at North Georgia Technical College.

SkillsUSA is a national career and technical student organization that holds over 100 competitions each year. Students are given the chance to test their vocational skills in a competitive environment.

The Georgia SkillsUSA Conference is set for March 21 through the 23 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta.

A total of 25 students from Stephens County High School participated in the regional SkillsUSA competition last month.
