SCHS Softball Sweeps Hart Co.

The Stephens County Lady Indian softball team comes from behind for a non-region win over a rival.

Stephens County scored three runs in the sixth inning to come back and win, 5-3, over Hart County.

Natalie Morgan had a double and two RBI’s, while McKenzie Rogers came on in relief in the fourth inning and allowed only three hits while striking out four to notch the win on the mound.

The Lady Indian varsity softballers are now 8-2 overall on the season.

Meanwhile, the JV softball team for Stephens County beat Hart County, 11-0.

Kaley Sellers went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBI’s and Taylor Weaver pitched a complete game for the win.

The Lady Indian JV softball team is now 4-0.

Both the varsity and JV softball teams for Stephens County are back on the road today for a region game at North Hall.
