SCHS Softball Picks Up Non Region Win

Stephens County High School’s varsity softball team is back on the winning track.

Wednesday, the Lady Indians upended the East Hall Vikings 4-3 in extra innings.

Karly Smith had a walk off single to drive in the winning run for the Lady Indians in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Peyton Terrell also had a double and an RBI and Natalie Morgan added two singles for Stephens County.

On the mound, McKenzie Rogers pitched a complete game for Stephens County to pick up the win.

The Lady Indians are now 6-1 on the season.

They open the region portion of the schedule today at Madison County.

The JV game will start at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity game will start at 6 p.m.
