SCHS Softball Comes Back to Beat Banks Co.

The Stephens County High School softball team comes from behind to pick up a non-region win.

Monday, the Lady Indians won on the road over Banks County in extra innings, 4-2.

At the plate, Stephens County was led by Natalie Morgan, who was 2 for 4 with a run scored.

Also, Peyton Terrell had a game-tying single, driving in two runs in the top of the seventh inning.

In the circle, Emma Whitfield pitched an eight-inning complete game, scattering two runs and five hits while striking out 13 in the win.

This win pushes the Lady Indians’ overall record to 18-2.
