Stephens County High School is starting to get ready for the 2013-2014 school year.
The high school says that registration for the next school year for upcoming ninth graders will take place Tuesday, February 26 at the atrium of Stephens County High School.
Information will be discussed concerning Freshman Academy, as well as registration for the next school year.
In addition, the high school says that counselors visited the eighth grade classes this past Tuesday to discuss registration and sent information through their student on this day for parents to review for Tuesday’s registration.
Times for registration on Tuesday will depend on the student’s last name.
Upcoming ninth grade students for next year with last names Adams through Kiser will register Tuesday between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. and students with last names Knapp through the end of the alphabet will register between 6 and 7 p.m.
A parent must accompany students in order for their child to register. School counselors will register students not attending.

Meanwhile, on Monday, current ninth through 11th grade students at Stephens County High School will begin the advisement and registration process for the 2013-2014 school year.
According to the high school, students will meet with their advisor to select courses for next year and this year, the school is requiring parents or guardians and their student to come to the school and meet with their advisor and review the course recommendations.
The high school says advisors are contacting parents to schedule the advisement meeting.
Grade level meetings will be scheduled for the following dates:
Current 11th Grade – March 4
Current 10th Grade – March 18
Current 9th Grade – March 25
