SCHS Releases 2016 Football Schedule

The 2016 football schedule is out for Stephens County High School.

Stephens County will start 2016 with a scrimmage against White County at a location to be determined on August 19.

The Indians are then scheduled to start the regular season with two road games against non-region teams.

On August 26, the Indians will visit Franklin County and on September 2, Stephens County will travel north to face Rabun County.

Stephens County will open the home schedule on September 9 with a non-region game against Flowery Branch and then host Habersham Central on September 16.

The Indians will wrap up non-region play on September 23 at Hart County.

After a scheduled off week on September 30, Stephens County will start region play on the road on October 7 at St. Pius.

Following that are region home games on October 14 against Madison County and on October 21 against Oconee County, coached by former Indians’ head coach Travis Noland.

Stephens County travels to Jeffereson on October 28 and then the Indians wrap up the regular season at home on November 4 against North Oconee.

October 14 is the scheduled Homecoming game, October 21 is set for Band and Auxiliary Senior Night and November 4 is set for Fall Sports Senior Night.

All games are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
