The Stephens County Junior Varsity baseball picks up a win in extra innings against a rival.
The JV Indians defeated Franklin County in nine innings on Thursday by a score of 12-6.
That moves the Stephens County JV baseball team’s record to 8-1 on the season.
Moving to the tennis courts, the Stephens County boys’ and girls’ tennis teams both picked up wins on Thursday.
The Lady Indian tennis team snapped a four-game losing streak by defeating Johnson 4-1. Meanwhile, the Indian boys also defeated Johnson by a 4-1 score.
The Lady Indian tennis team is now 3-4 overall and 1-4 in the region, while the Indian boys’ tennis team is now 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the region.
