Royal Foods Holds Ribbon Cutting

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday for the new owner of the Royal Foods store on Currahee   Street, at the intersection of Currahee and Rock   Quarry Circle.

That new owner is Talat Solaimon.

He took over in July and said things are going well.

“This is basically a convenience store with Chevron gas,” said Solaimon.  “We offer basic needs for the community.  I think we have the best customer service and also it is very clean.”

The store is open seven days a week.

The hours for the Royal Foods at the corner of Currahee and Rock   Quarry Circle are Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday,  7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
