Rainy Day Expected in Region Today

A flash flood watch remains in effect for Stephens County and surrounding areas from the National Weather Service.

Rain started last night throughout the area.

As of 7 a.m. today, downtown Toccoa has received 1.33 inches of rain since it all started.

The rain is expected to continue today before moving out.

Sunshine is expected to return tomorrow.
