Rabun Drug Bust Nets Six Arrests
Six people face charges after a drug bust in Rabun County.
On Wednesday, the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office executed a search warrant at a Clayton residence as the result of a three-month investigation.
Authorities say they seized about 27 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a quantity of alprazolam and oxycodone, along with butane hash oil and a small amount of marijuana.
The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is $4,000.
Rabun County authorities also seized 17 firearms.
All six people who were arrested were taken to the Rabun County Detention Center.
