Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Area ATM

Toccoa Police are investigating a reported armed robbery at a local ATM.

According to a report on file with the Toccoa Police Department, the incident reportedly happened just after 4 a.m. last Friday at an ATM on Big   A Road.

The victim told police that she went to the ATM to draw some money out of her account and as she walked to the machine, she was approached by a slender black male wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and a ski mask.

The report goes on to state that the woman told police the suspect was holding a shot gun and demanded her to empty her account.

He took $20 and ran off in another direction.

The woman was not injured in the incident.
