The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two reported armed robberies.

The first took place on September 21 on Terri Lane in Toccoa between approximately 4:15 and 5:15 p.m.  The victims had about $40 in cash taken, along with about $100 in other items.

The second took place on Sweetgum Road in Eastanollee on September 22 at around 9 p.m.  The victim said he had $100 worth of firearms taken.

No injuries were reported in either incident, according to the report.

Elsewhere, a Rock Creek Road resident told the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office on September 22 that between September 21 and 22, she had $100 in cash and $2,950 in jewelry and metals taken.

In addition, a Black Mountain Road man told the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office that two shotguns valued at $250 were stolen from his shop between August 20 and September 19.

Finally, the Toccoa Police Department responded to Stephens Drive on September 21 where a woman reported that sometime between September 17 and 21, she had three plastic containers holding shoes, jewelry, personal documents, and other items taken from the house.

All of the incidents remain under investigation.
