The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary from over the weekend.

According to a report on file, a deputy responded to a residence on Brady Street on Sunday evening, where a man reported that he had been out of town for a few days and when he returned, he noticed items missing from his residence.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office also responded to Dortch Road in reference to a theft on Thursday afternoon.

The report stated that a woman told the deputy she had moved out of the residence last Wednesday and when she returned on Thursday, her television that was at the residence was gone.

Finally, the Toccoa Police Department responded to a Valley Road residence last Thursday in reference to a theft.

According to the police report, a man told the officer responding that he was moving to Toccoa and had left his weed eater and leaf blower on his car port in Toccoa while moving for the past couple of days and they had gone missing.

Those incidents also remain under investigation.
