A Tallulah Street resident reports a burglary to authorities.

According to a report on file with the Toccoa Police Department, an officer responded to Tallulah Street on Friday.

There, a resident told the officer that someone had taken her 32-inch flat screen TV, valued at $250, and her dog, described as a Pit bull.

Elsewhere, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Oak Valley Road on Friday in reference to a reported burglary.

The deputy said in the report that the complainant checked on his shop last Wednesday afternoon and everything was fine, then sometime between then and Friday, several things went missing from his shop.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office responded to Whisnant Street on Thursday for a reported burglary.

In the report, the deputy said that a resident returned home late last Wednesday night and found that a window to the home had been pried open and that jewelry and other items were missing.

Finally, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a Combs Avenue address on Wednesday for a reported theft.

According to the report on file, a woman told the deputy that someone had stolen gas from their vehicle and taken an item from their storage building.

All of the cases remain under investigation.
