A Toccoa woman faces charges after a car accident late last month.
The Toccoa Police Department stated that an officer responded to an accident during the afternoon of March 26 on Falls Road.
The report stated that a female driver had run off the road while headed south on the northbound side of the highway.
Police said that the driver was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and Alprazolam without a prescription and also under the influence of drugs.
The police report stated that the driver, identified as Tina Kathy McConnell, either 50 or 51 years old, of Tryphosa Drive, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Failure to Maintain Lane, and DUI/Drugs.
Elsewhere, the Toccoa Police Department responded to Locust Street on March 24 in reference to a reported burglary.
The report stated that someone broke into a building by prying the front door open and stole two weed eaters, a saw, and a small angle grinder.
According to the report, it happened between the evening of March 22 and the evening of March 24.
Finally, a South Hill Street resident told Toccoa Police on March 29 that ten of his fishing rods were missing from his garage.
Both of those incidents remain under investigation.
