A Mize Road man is reporting to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office that his home was broken into.
According to a report on file with the Sheriff’s Office, the break-in occurred sometime between October 16 and October 26. The man tells authorities that more than $4,500 worth of clothing, firearms, jewelry, electronics, household goods, and other items were taken.
Elsewhere, a Martin resident is also reporting a theft to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy responded to Price Road on October 27, where a woman told the deputy that several pieces of jewelry valued at $750 were taken, along with a small amount of cash and $20 worth of other items. According to the report, the incident occurred between October 20 and 27.
Meanwhile, a Crescent Drive resident told the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office on October 27 that a chain saw and leaf blower were taken from his metal outbuilding. The items are valued at approximately $860. According to the report, the incident occurred between noon and 7 p.m. on October 27.
Finally, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Oakbrook Trail in Eastanollee on October 28 in reference to a reported burglary. The report states that the incident occurred between October 27 and 28. $50 in cash, along with $670 worth of other unlisted items, were taken, according to the report.
All of the incidents remain under investigation.
