The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported armed robbery on Dortch Road last week.

According to the report on file, a man told deputies on August 12 that sometime early that morning, he was robbed of $40 while walking on Dortch Road.

The incident happened between midnight and 1 a.m. on August 13.

Elsewhere, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Trestle View Road on August 9 in reference to a reported theft.

The woman told a deputy that sometime between 8 a.m. and noon that over $8,000 in property was stolen from the residence.

Items stolen include $4,200 in household goods and $3,800 in other miscellaneous items.

In addition, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office took a report from a man who had property stolen from a county boat ramp.

The report does not list what was taken, but does state that just over $1,700 in various items were taken.

Finally, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Cedar   Drive on August 13 to take a damage to property report.

The report states that approximately $4,000 worth of damage was done to a pool at a residence that day.

The investigation into all of these incidents continue.
