Authorities in Stephens County say a HabershamCounty woman was recently arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
According to a report on file with the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to a Gumlog Road location on July 19 in reference to a suspicious person.
Following an investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said 24-year-old Ashleigh Brooke Ramey of Clarkesville was arrested and charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine.
Elsewhere, the Sheriff’s Office responded to an Ayersville Road location last week in reference to a reported theft.
The homeowner told the deputy that stereo equipment had been stolen.
Finally, the Sheriff’s Office responded earlier this month to a reported burglary at a Carnes Creek Road residence.
The report stated that someone broke into the home and stole $1,800 worth of personal items.
Both incidents remain under investigation.
