The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Oak Valley Road last week in reference to a reported burglary.

According to a report on file, a deputy responded on May 30 where a resident stated that $3,435 worth of items were taken from a home. The report does not list specifically what was taken.

The report indicates that the incident happened sometime during the month of May.

Meanwhile, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Gumlog Road on May 30 in reference to a reported theft.

A resident told a deputy that just over $1,000 worth of items had been taken from that location. The report does not list what was taken.

Finally, Stephens County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Tatum Street residence on May 30 in reference to a reported theft.

The man told deputies that a small handgun worth $100 and $250 in cash were taken from the residence sometime between May 14 and May 30.

Authorities continue to investigate all of the incidents.
