The Toccoa Police Department is investigating a burglary at a Mulkey Road residence.
According to the report on file with police, a woman told an officer that someone had pried open the back door to a home on Mulkey Road and stolen some large household items. Items taken included a water heater, refrigerator, and ceiling fans.
The incident was reported to police on May 28.
Elsewhere, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Martin location in reference to a recent theft.
The report stated that a deputy spoke with a person on South Century Drive on May 28 who says his weedeater was taken. The weedeater is valued at $150.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office also responded to Madden Drive in reference to a theft last week.
Someone reported on May 29 that their grill had been taken from a residence on that road. The grill was valued at $45, according to the report.
Finally, the Sheriff’s Office also responded to Hayes Wilbanks Road in reference to a reported theft.
A resident on that road said that about $2,800 worth of miscellaneous items were taken from the property between the afternoon of May 25 and the late afternoon of May 28. The report does not list specifically what was taken.
All of the incidents remain under investigation by authorities.
