A Toccoa man faces a burglary charge.
According to a report on file with the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to Ed Davis Boulevard on March 28 in reference to a reported residential theft.
The report stated that that a woman told the Sheriff’s Office someone broke into a storage building and stole nearly $400 in appliances and yard equipment.
Following an investigation, 46-year-old Anthony Jerome Moore of Toccoa was arrested nearby and charged with burglary.
The report went on to say that all of the items were recovered and returned.
Elsewhere, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Vickery Road in Toccoa on March 29 in reference to a theft.
The report stated that a utility trailer valued at $500 was stolen sometime on March 29.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office also responded to Waters Edge Court on March 30 in reference to a burglary.
According to the report, a home was broken into and electronics and tools were found to be missing from the home. The report stated that about $875 worth of electronics and $1,200 in other items were taken.
Finally, a Skyview Lane resident reported a theft to Toccoa Police on March 30.
According to the report on file, the woman told police that sometime overnight March 29 into March 30, landscaping lights were stolen from the property.
The investigations into the incidents continue.
