A Rock Creek Road resident is reporting a burglary to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a report on file, a deputy responded on March 25 and was told that someone had entered the residence and stolen jewelry and some cash. The report states that the incident is believed to have happened between 1 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. About $925 worth of jewelry was taken, along with $9 in cash.
Meanwhile, an Oak Valley Road resident told the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office on March 19 that someone had broken through their carport door and stolen some firearms. The incident happened between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. In all, about $3,600 worth of firearms was taken.
Finally, the Toccoa Police Department responded to South Hill Street on March 26, where someone told an officer that her bed and mattress had been stolen.
The incidents all remain under investigation.
