The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a location on Easy Street in Toccoa.

According to the report on file with the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded on February 10 to Easy Street, where the complainant reported that several items had been taken from the location.

The report does not list specifically what was taken, but does report that an estimated $12,000 worth of electronics was taken.

Elsewhere, the Toccoa Police Department responded to Riley Street on February 12 in reference to a reported theft.

The report on file stated that a mountain bike was taken from the property.

Finally, a Braswell Street resident told the Toccoa Police Department on February 8 that sometime the week prior, someone stole an aluminum boat that he had recently purchased. According to the report, the boat was stolen from an empty lot next to his home. It was described in the report as a flat bottom, 10’ long aluminum boat with no motor.

The investigations into those incidents also continue.
