The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a number of recently reported burglaries.

According to a report on file, a deputy responded to a private drive near Whispering Pines Road on January 31 in reference to a burglary report. The victim said in the report that someone broke into the home and stole numerous items from the residence. The report lists that $200 worth of electronics, $200 worth of household goods, and $2,000 worth of other items were taken from the residence.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office responded to Vale Road on February 3. The complainant told a deputy on that day that someone had made forced entry into a detached garage and stolen $2,000 worth of items. The report does not list what was taken.

Finally, someone told the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office on February 5 that sometime between January 28 and February 2, a personal item worth $150 was taken from the trunk of his vehicle on Pond Street.
