The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded recently to a reported theft from a vehicle on Scenic Drive.
According to the report on file, the woman told a deputy that $150 and a pearl necklace worth $500 were taken from her vehicle between the afternoon of January 14 and the afternoon of January 16.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office responded to Fernside Drive on January 14 in reference to a reported theft.
The report on file stated that $2,500 worth of items had been stolen. However, the report does not list what specifically was taken. The alleged theft is reported to have taken place between January 7 and January 14.
In addition, the Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 328 in Martin for a burglary on January 15.
In the report, a woman told a deputy that several items had been taken from her residence. It is believed to have occurred between 6 p.m. on January 14 and 7 a.m. on January 15. The items are valued at $50, but the report does not list specifically what was taken.
Elsewhere, the Toccoa Police Department responded to a reported theft on Highway 123 on January 12.
According to the report on file, the victim stated that an outside air conditioner unit had been stolen. It is believed to have happened on January 7.
Finally, the Toccoa Police Department responded to a Big A Road store on January 11 in reference to a theft from a vehicle.
The report stated that sometime between 2 and 3:15 p.m. on January 11, a laptop, digital camera, tablet, and prescription medicine were all taken from a vehicle.
The investigations into all of the incidents continue.
