The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary on Merritts Circle in Martin late last month.

According to the report on file, the woman stated on December 29 that she returned home and found someone had entered the residence and taken three television sets. The television sets are valued at $2500.

Elsewhere, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Landrum Drive in Martin in reference to a reported burglary on December 29.

The report states that a homeowner reported $200 worth of property was taken from the home sometime between December 21 and December 28. The report does not list what was taken.

In addition, an individual also reported a burglary on Mize Road to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report on file, the residence was gone through sometime between December 22 and December 28, but nothing was reported as taken through the residence.

Finally, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to South Yow Mill Road in Martin on December 28, where someone said that her air conditioner had been shot, doing $100 worth of property damage.

All of those incidents also remain under investigation.
