A Howard Road man is reporting a theft to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the report on file, the man told a deputy last Wednesday that someone had entered his house and taken $3,655 worth of jewelry, as well as $45 worth of clothing items.
Meanwhile, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office also responded to Liberty Hill Road last week in reference to a reported theft.
The report states that a man told a deputy on December 10 that someone had stolen a battery out of his tractor. The battery was valued at $100.
Elsewhere, the Toccoa Police Department responded to Old Riley Street on December 11 in reference to a theft. According to the report on file, a small yellow moped was reported to be taken out of the victim’s yard over the prior few days.
Finally, Toccoa Police responded to a Big A Road shopping center this past Saturday in reference to a theft.
The report states that a roof antenna was stolen from a car while it was parked and the victims were inside.
All of the incidents remain under investigation.
