Paul Anderson Tree Lighting Today

The Christmas season officially arrives at the Paul Anderson Park in Toccoa.

Tonight is the annual tree lighting at the Paul Anderson Park, which is located at the intersection of Tugalo Street and Big A Road in Toccoa.

Events get started at 10:30 a.m. and continue throughout the day.

There is entertainment, a raffle with numerous prizes, and the Varsity will also be there serving lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and supper from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

Everything comes to a conclusion at 7:30 p.m. with the tree lighting ceremony.

Proceeds from today’s event benefit the Paul Anderson Park Foundation, which maintains the facility.

The new 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG will be broadcasting from today’s event at Paul Anderson Park later today.
