One Injured in Ridgeland Rd. Fire

More information is available on a fire Tuesday in Stephens County.

According to Eastanollee Volunteer Fire Chief Jamey Gettys, Eastanollee Fire, along with assistance from Martin and New Hope, responded to a Ridgeland Road residence Tuesday at about 4:30 p.m.

He said that an outbuilding had caught fire after a lawnmower exploded with someone in the building.

That person, Russ Sheriff, was transported for medical treatment of burn injuries. He is reported to be in stable condition at this time.

The investigation into the fire itself continues.
