Authorities said one person was taken to the hospital after an accident earlier this week on Currahee Street.
The accident occurred at about 1:20 p.m. Monday around mile marker 61 on Currahee Street in Stephens County.
According to the Toccoa post of the Georgia State Patrol, 23-year-old Brandon Crowe of Toccoa was traveling north when he entered a curve and lost control, leaving the roadway and traveling down an embankment before striking a retaining wall and ending up on its side.
Crowe was transported by ground to Stephens County Hospital.
