Old Mexico Restaurant Holds Ribbon Cutting

old mexicoDowntown Toccoa and Stephens County celebrate the opening of a new restaurant.

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday to mark the opening of Old Mexico Restaurant on Broad Street in Toccoa.

Old Mexico Restaurant is owned by Lori and Pablo Tocohua.

Lori Tocohua said Old Mexico offers Mexican cuisine for lunch and dinner.

“We have $4.99 lunch specials every day,” said Tocohua. “We open at 11 a.m. (every day). We have karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays.”

Old Mexico Restaurant is open seven days a week.

It is located on Broad Street, next to the Stephens County Farmers’ Market building.

Old Mexico offers dine-in or carry-out.
