Oconee Co., S.C. Will Not Get Michelin, Says Report

Michelin will not locate in Oconee County, South Carolina, according to a report from GSA Business.

Oconee County officials said in the GSA Business report that they have been informed by Michelin that the company intends to let its purchase option agreement on a proposed distribution center in Fair Play expire.

Since August 2014, Michelin has had the Golden Corner Commerce Park under option for the purposes of building a multimillion dollar distribution center off South Carolina Highway 59, said GSA Business.
