No One Hurt in Toccoa House Fire

November 15, 2013

The investigation continues into a Thursday house fire in Toccoa.

Toccoa Fire Chief Tommy Ayers said that both Toccoa stations responded to a South Alexander Street home, near Currahee Street, at 12:25 p.m. Thursday after the fire was reported.

Ayers said the fire started in the living room and the home suffered heavy heat and smoke damage.

He said nobody was injured in the blaze, which is not suspicious in nature.
