NGTC, Life Univ. Re-affirm Articulation Agreement

Representatives from North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) and Life University met on Thursday, April 30, 2015, to reaffirm the articulation agreement outlined by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).

The system-wide articulation between TCSG and Life University is designed to create a smooth transition from one institution to another for students in undergraduate business programs.

Through the agreement, NGTC students who successfully complete specified courses for the business programs specified in the agreement are eligible to apply those credits toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Management or a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Life University.

“Life University is pleased to continue this partnership with North Georgia Technical College,” said Dr. Robert Scott, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Life University. “It is these types of collaborative relationships that will assist more students in earning a college degree and creating a highly educated workforce in Georgia.”

“Everything we do is focused on providing our students with the resources they want and need to attain their goals,” said North Georgia Technical College President Dr. Gail Thaxton. “We are proud to be able to offer this articulation agreement with Life University to our students, adding to our portfolio of opportunities for a virtually seamless transition to a bachelor’s degree for those who want to continue their studies. It is a pleasure to partner with such an outstanding organization.”
