NGTC Honors Pharmacy Tech, Medical Assisting Students

North Georgia Technical College celebrates Pharmacy Technology and Medical Assisting student achievements

The school recently celebrated Pharmacy Technology and Medical Assisting students’ completion of their academic coursework as they earned their professional pins in their respective programs.

Twenty-five students received their professional pins in Medical Assisting and nine students received their pins in Pharmacy Technology on December 10 at Clegg Auditorium at North Georgia Technical College.

To honor the occasion, students chose a significant friend or family member to present their individual pins to them during the ceremony.

North Georgia Technical College Vice President of Academic Affairs Kathie Ivester said the North Georgia Tech pin given to each student is symbolic of excellence to the student’s chosen health profession and is a distinguished display of pride in the students’ achievements.

Stephens County students receiving their Medical Assisting pins included Kelly Waddell of Toccoa, Haleigh Mealor of Toccoa, and Amber Faulk of Martin.

Stephens County students receiving their Pharmacy Technology pins included Burgandy Livingston of Martin, Adam Dodd of Martin, and Lindsay Trent of Toccoa.
