NGTC Clarkesville Campus To Test Siren Today

North Georgia Technical College said it will start testing the siren/alert on its Clarkesville campus on a regular monthly schedule beginning later today.

The test will take place today at noon and school officials say the siren will sound for 10 to 15 seconds.

According to North Georgia Tech, if it is an actual emergency, it will blast for five minutes.

The school said the 10 to 15 second test will be conducted the first Monday of each month at noon moving forward.
