North Georgia Technical College recently celebrated the pinning of practical nursing and pharmacy tech students earlier this month at the Clarksville Campus. The newly renovated Clegg auditorium provided a fitting tone for the recognition of the achievements of the students.
Of the individuals who received pins at the ceremony, multiple residents of Stephens County were represented. Morgan Carter, Renee Ledford, Stephanie Moore, and Lacy Roberts were among the Stephens County residents who received pins for Practical Nursing.
Dr. Paul Raber of Franklin County addressed the students and gathered supporters during the ceremony. Raber stressed the importance of continuing to learn and listen in the real world medical environment.
North Georgia Technical College President Gail Thaxton notes that the ceremony was one of the highlights of the year for the College. She says that the pinning is meant to provide the highest quality of recognition for excellence in career and technical education.
