Toccoa will officially unveil its new pool and bathhouse to the public today.
It is located at the site of the old pool on Doyle Street.
Toccoa Main Street and Community Development Director Connie Tabor said the public is encouraged to come out for a busy day of activities.
“We will have the ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.,” said Tabor. “We will serve refreshments and offer free tours. Admission is free for the entire day. The hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.”
Tabor said parents are encouraged to bring children out today to enjoy to the pool and the festivities.
The new pool is one of the city of Toccoa’s SPLOST VI projects.
