Last week, Allyson Rickman Warren took over as the Coordinator for that organization.
She takes the place of Toni Childress, who took a position as a Region Two Community Support Specialist with Georgia Family Connection Partnership, Inc.
Warren is a graduate of Stephens County High School and has her Bachelor and Master’s Degrees from Georgia Southern University.
For the last three years, she has served as a System Support Analyst at 1st Franklin Financial.
Warren said she is blessed to given this opportunity and excited to be able to contribute to the community that is so much a part of who she is.
Meanwhile, Family Connection Board Member Tammy Riddle said they are thrilled to have Warren as a part of the team, adding Warren aspires to use her abilities and talents to make a difference in the lives of children while making a difference in the community.
Family Connection of Stephens County is a non-profit organization supported by a combination of state and local funds.
Among other things, it helps organize and coordinate programs to get books to children in Stephens County and other programs like the mentoring program in the school system.
