New Chamber of Commerce Director Named

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce names its new President.

Monday, The Chamber announced the selection of Julie Paysen as the new Chamber President in a press release.

Paysen replaces Wendi Bailey, who retired in August after serving as Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President for nearly eight years.

Paysen’s first day on the job was Monday.

Most recently, Paysen served as a Regional Advertising Sales Representative for Georgia-Carolina Radiocasting, the parent company of WNEG Radio.

The Chamber said it received 29 applications for the job after it was posted back in mid-August and a search committee went through those applications and interviewed candidates.
