A new Bachelor’s Degree program is starting at Emmanuel College in a few weeks.

This Fall, Emmanuel College will begin its Diversified Agriculture Bachelor’s Degree program.

Recently, Emmanuel College announced the approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to begin a Diversified Agriculture Bachelor’s Degree program.

Owen Thomason is the Program Chairman.

He said this will be a four year Bachelor’s Degree program.

“This degree will offer the students an opportunity to select one of three concentrations. Agricultural business, agricultural missions, and agricultural science. And each one of these pathways will allow them the freedom to be able to enter in the major that they originally selected but also gain some experience in the other fields.” said Thomason.

Thomason said they are excited about starting this program.

“This is the first year that Emmanuel College has offered agriculture, and we’re real excited about this opportunity. It’s a new program, a new degree, and a new avenue for students to gain a college degree while still being at one of the best colleges in the United States.”

Thomason said any students interested in the program should get in touch with Emmanuel College online at www.ec.edu.
